Linking Diaspora and Homeland to Solve the Family Puzzle

  Treasure Hunt

Game I
Game
II

A great activity for families, school trips, camps, and clubs for people of all ages.

The objects of everyday life are one way to begin to learn about the lives and times of your ancestors.

1. If you live in Palestine, look around your home or local heritage centers to see how many of the following objects you can find. How many objects do you know the names and uses of? Fill in the gaps in your knowledge by talking to older relatives or asking at heritage centers

 2. If you live in the Diaspora, Why not play this as a game at your next family gathering? Or try to show the pictures to an elderly relative (Click to enlarge)  and see if they jolt any memories? Don’t forget to write them down.

Have you got any old artifacts or photos of them? Send them to me and I'll add them to the next game, and acknowledge your contribution.
