Musicians without Borders                            A group of 5 Artists and Musicians came to Israel / Palestine on 31st of October 2007, to explore the possibility of having a music bus in Palestine and planning children’s music projects, demonstrating to potential partners something of the style of working musicians without boarders (mainly with children). Palestine in Education Campaign                            5th November 2007 Palestinians are living under widely divergent and problematic circumstances as a result of a history that brought upon them colonial occupation, ethnic cleansing, a large-scale refugee problem and a regime of structural racism. Parents’ Group Meeting                                 4th October 2007 The Arab Educational Institute – Open windows held a meeting  for the Parents’ Group at the Sumud Peace House a branch of the AEI near Rachel’s Tomb. Ramadan Social Activity-  Celebrating Iftar meal in Ramallah                                 9th September 2007 The Arab Educational Institute organized  an Iftar meal on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and the beginning of the new school year for the schools' network that cooperate with the institution in the implementation of the project "Living in the Holy Land: Respecting Differences", in Ramallah district. Ramadan Social Activity in Youth House                                 27th September 2007 The AEI Youth Management Team met to organize a socio-cultural activity for their fellow university and the postgraduates youth groups. Monte Sole Summer peace camp -2006                            AEI-Open Windows participated in Monte Sole Summer peace camp -2006 in Bologna/ Italy with two teamers from the New Graduates and Young Employees Youth Group. Non-Violent Communication Training                                 7th – 22nd September 2007 A group of four trainers from Germany, Isolde, Duja, Marcus and Fredrich, who are disciples of Marshal Rosenberg, came to Bethlehem and volunteered in giving a training course on non-violent communication. The AEI Open-Windows had two-online discussions with them about the aims and the agenda of the training. Public Hearing Workshop on the Palestinian Curriculum                                 25th September 2007 The AEI and in cooperation with the Advocacy Office of the YMCA, organized a workshop entitled “The Representation of the New Palestinian Identity in the New Palestinian Curriculum” Sharing Stories: An Exchange of Cultural Heritage                                 17 – 25 August 2007 The AEI-Open Windows organized an exchange project to take place in North Ireland in Kinder House. The Dutch Institute (Stichting) Kinderhuose Noord Lerland invited youngsters from Palestine for an exchange project entitled "Sharing Stories: An Exchange of Cultural Heritage" Cross-Cultural Encounter and Inter-religious Dialogue in Europe and the Middle East                                 8 – 20 August 2007 Five of university youth group members participated in a youth exchange project in Germany entitled "Move Ahead and Leave a Trail".  In an evaluation meeting, which took place last week, the participants talked about their experiences in that youth exchange. UN International Day of Prayer For PEACE                                 24 September 2007 In cooperation with the National Christian Organizations in Bethlehem (NCOB), the AEI-Open Windows organized and celebrated the anniversary of the UN International Day of Prayer for Peace.
