Kids Christmas Celebration
On December 18th
2009, AEI Celebrated Christmas with our Kids Group within the framework of
Christmas Celebrations.
The party included
more than 25 kids, who represent Christians & Muslims from different social
strata and environment.
The Celebration
included the following items:-
1- Mrs. Rania
Murra - the presenter welcomed and congratulated the parents & the
children on the occasion of the Advent & Christmas.
2- A Christian
child - Joseph Mitri read the story of the birth of Jesus Christ in the
Holy Gospel and also Bilal Jaber - A Muslim recited the story of the
Birth of Jesus Christ according to the Holy Quran.
3- A Group of
Children sang the Palestinian National Anthem led by: Mr. Roger Salameh.
4- Maher Maria -
played some musical pieces on the piano.
5- Marian Murra -
sang Christmas Carols & Hymns.
6- Girls Kids
Group presented a dance trained by: Miss. Jennifer Salameh – from the
Youth Management Training Team.
7- A group of
girls & boys chanted a Hymn entitled “Show me the Light”.
8- A play entitled
“Human Rights” was presented by some children carrying posters demanding
children's rights. Mrs. Odette Sleibi - from the Women Management
Training Team was the composer and trainer of this play.
9- At the end of
the ceremony a power point presentation about our Kids work and
activities was shown to the audience.
10- Finally: Santa
Clause distributed Christmas gifts to the whole children's group in
addition to the small brothers and sisters who accompanied the parents
in the party.
The parents' audience
wasn't big enough because of the school exam period. However the parents'
were very happy and satisfied with their children's presentations which
expressed the Christmas meanings: Joy, peace, love, hope and humility.
