AEI-Open Windows celebrates Christmas with the Antonian Charitable Society

On
Tuesday December 1st, 2009 the Arab Educational Institute (AEI-Open
Windows) Women’s group and Choir visited the Elderly at the Antonian
Charitable Society in Bethlehem along with the Project Coordinator at the
Sumud story house Rania Murra, the Public Relations Officer Raneen Al-Arja
and Our Media officer Fadi Abou Akleh.
The
Women sang beautiful Christmas Songs for the elderly, they danced together
and participated in a joyful celebration in preparation for Christmas. The
elderly women at the Antonian Society were happy to be part of the
celebration, enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere and you could see the lifting
of their spirit as they sang along with the choir.

The
AEI-Open Windows women Choir practices regularly lead by Mrs. Audette Sleibi,
write some of the songs and poems and participates in many of the AEI-Open
Windows events. As for The women’s group who meets at the Sumud Story
House, they have many activities such as: Language courses, regular
meetings, discussions, R.R.C.A (Read, Reflect, Communicate and Act)
sessions, meditation sessions and Choir practices which is part of the work
of our Sumud Story House coordinator Mrs. Rania Giacaman Murra.
Despite the difficult situation in Palestine and as we come so close to
welcome the year 2010, we can only wish that Joy and Peace will be present
among our society and beloved country. And Merry Christmas to all.
